Hi, I’m Marieke, a mum, dog lover, and the human behind Buddy & Joy.

Buddy is our big, goofy dog who thinks every car trip is a full-blown adventure. Joy is our little girl, full of energy, chaos, and curiosity, and the reason our house and car are rarely quiet or clean anymore.

It’s wild how much you need just to leave the house: the baby bag, the dog gear, snacks, wipes, coffee, your phone, and your sanity. Even a quick morning walk feels like a mini mission. I’m not here pretending our products solve it all, but they do make it easier to juggle everything so you can actually get out the door without losing your cool.

That’s when the idea for Buddy & Joy was born — gear that makes everyday life with a baby and a dog just a little easier.

Why We Exist

Buddy & Joy started because family adventures should feel fun, not frustrating. When Joy arrived, we promised ourselves we wouldn’t forget about our first “fur-born.” The mum guilt is real, right?
